State police at Frackville reported investigating a rear-end crash which resulted in one person being injured. The crash occurred at 1:32 p.m on Friday along Mount Laffee Road, in New Castle Township.

Troopers said Kathy D. Stuck, 46, of Minersville, driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala, and Taylor M. Grigalonis, 20, of Branchdale, driving a 1999 Volkewagen Jetta, were both westbound. Grigalonis stopped for a truck turning left into the Saint Nicholas Breaker.Stuck failed to stop and the front of her Impala struck the rear of the Jetta.A passenger with Grigalonis, David S. Bush, 32, of Pottsville, sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.Troopers said Stuck was cited for following too closely.
