"Our hearts are broken," Jim Thorpe cheerleaders posted on their Facebook page Friday afternoon about Taylor Denyse Shepherdson and Jasmine Fonseca, who were killed in a crash Thursday night.

"We have been blessed by knowing and loving these two young ladies! Always smiling, always in a good mood, always enriching the lives of those around them!" the cheerleaders posted, adding, "Taylor and Jasmine, you are loved and missed beyond words! I know you will be with us at every step cheering from heaven!"Members of the community also posted sympathies on Facebook on Friday afternoon.
