Present were Earl Boettger, Rosemarie Naftz, Christine Zizelmann R.N., Shirley Becker, Judith Hadesty R.N. health officer, and Matthew Myers, Code Enforcement Officer.Myers reported 52 licenses paid and issued. He received 37 high grass complaints and resolved 28 of them, two leaking sewer complaints and two resolved, three buildings unfit for human occupancy and two resolved, one animal waste complaint and one resolved, and 15 trash complaints and 14 resolved. There were no cases of reportable diseases for the month of July.Dear TamaquaOrganizers of the Dear Tamaqua Project have issued a last call for residents to submit letters for inclusion in the project, which will be archived for posterity. The letters, videos, art work, photos, etc. will be placed at the Tamaqua Public Library.Anyone who still wishes to write a letter may do so by Sept. 30 at
