Breast cancer screening looks for signs of cancer before a woman has symptoms. Screening can help find breast cancer early, when the chance of successful treatment is best. Two tests are commonly used to screen for breast cancer: mammogram, a low-dose X-ray exam of the breasts to look for changes that are not normal, and clinical breast exam. The free clinics include a mammogram and CBE with a health care professional. A prescription for a screening mammogram will be supplied. The clinics are open to people who are uninsured or underinsured only and are co-sponsored with the Women's 5K Classic.Appointments are limited and registration is required by calling 610-377-7070.
