The Lehigh County Coroner's office has released details about a woman's body found this afternoon in the Lehigh River.

Deputy coroner David Krause pronounced Patricia M. Rasmuson, 53, of Bethlehem dead at 12:45 p.m today.

Her body was discovered in the Lehigh River, just south of the Treichler's Bridge in North Whitehall Township.

The Lehigh County Coroner's Office and the Pennsylvania State Police in Bethlehem are conducting the investigaton.

An autopsy will be performed Monday to determine the cause of death.
