Cheesesteaks a hit at Bombers Grille

Tasty cheesesteaks and cheeseburgers filled with the works.

Customers can find that and a whole host more at Bombers Grille in Palmerton.Located at 548 Mauch Chunk Road, the business has been open since June 16, according to owner Garth Lakitsky.Before Lakitsky took over, the building had housed the Pyramid Restaurant for many years.Lakitsky, of West Penn Township, said he knew the Citro family, who had owned the Pyramid.So far, Lakitsky said the Bomber Cheesesteak has proved to be the biggest seller among customers."Cheesesteaks are the best-seller by far," Lakitsky said. "People like the cheesesteaks."Other favorites include the Bomber Burger, along with fresh cut french fries, hoagies, homemade pizza, and fresh baked goods.Lakitsky said most of the customers are from Palmerton, Lehighton and Weissport."People love it," he said. "I use the highest quality of food I can get at affordable rates."On top of the food, Lakitsky said the business also carries various snacks, drinks, coffee, and household items.Lakitsky said the business employs eight people.Customers can dine in or take out, he said.Bomber Grille is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.For more information, call 610-900-4211.
