Kenseth wins wild race at Pocono

LONG POND - For Matt Kenseth, the final laps of Sunday's Window's 10 400 at Pocono Raceway were simply about being in the right place at the right time.

With the race winding down and several of the leaders trying to conserve fuel, Kenseth found himself in the best position possible. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver took the lead on the final lap from teammate Kyle Busch, who was going for his fourth straight win, and held on to claim his first ever victory at The Tricky Triangle.

"It feels good to get one today," said Kenseth. "There's nothing like wins. We had a lot of wins in 2013 (seven) and we were pretty spoiled. Last year, we had a big dry spell. This year, we were able to win at Bristol (in April) and we've run up front a lot so I'm just really, really thankful to be with these guys and to get the win.

"I never thought I'd ever win at Pocono and I never thought I'd ever win a fuel mileage race. We did both today."

Despite running out of gas coming across the finish line, Brad Keselowski had enough in the tank to take second. Jeff Gordon, in his final start at Pocono, came home third.

Joey Logano, who led a race-high 97 laps but ran out of gas late, was scored in 20th position, while Busch was classified in 21st.
