Employees of DBI Services in Hazleton recently raised money for the Carbon County Animal Shelter through a take your dog to work day. The business raised $700 plus supplies, which were given to the county on Thursday. Commissioner Thomas J. Gerhard said the shelter is happy for the donation, which will be used to offset operational costs and care for the dogs until they are adopted.
