Three people were injured in a crash Saturday in Mahoning Township.

Thomas Markle, of Berwick, was westbound in his Chrysler 300M when the vehicle struck a Jeep Wrangler that was stopped in traffic just after 9 a.m.The Jeep hit a stopped Ford Econoline waiting to make a left turn.Three people with injuries were transported to Lehighton Hospital.Markle was cited for careless driving and driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
