The Palmerton and Lehighton Area Democratic Clubs are co-sponsoring an informal midsummer Pot Luck Picnic on July 19, from 2-5 p.m. at Bert Holczman's Farm, 540 Sand Quarry Road, Ashfield.

"It's a relaxed and fun way to stay in touch over the summer," said Sarina Berlow, president of the Palmerton Democratic Club. "Paper goods and ice will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a favorite dish, salad, chips, snacks or beverages, etc., to share.""A swimming pool and changing area are also available," said Sandi Peters, club vice president.
