Carbon County commissioners approved a number of actions regarding the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board last week.

They are as follows:• Accept the resignations of Victor Pituch of Lansford/Nesquehoning as a one-year consumer representative and Guy Luongo of Social Security's Wilkes-Barre office as a two-year community representative, effective June 30.• Appoint Ginny Tatusko, LPN of Blue Mountain Health System, Lehighton, as a one-year community representative, effective July 1 through June 30, 2016.• Appoint Brian P. Harrison of the Social Security Administration, Hazleton, as a two-year community representative effective July 1 through June 30, 2017.• Reappoint Joseph Sebelin, Pocono WIA, Jim Thorpe, as a one-year community representative; and Grace Riggio of Lehighton and Anthony DiMiceli of Nesquehoning as one-year consumer representatives, effective July 1 to June 30, 2016.• Reappoint Roxanne Downs of Jim Thorpe and Jean Zimmerman of Weatherly as two-year community representatives; and Sandra Gallagher of Jim Thorpe and Genie Marie Boyd of Nesquehoning as two-year consumer representatives, effective July 1 to June 30, 2017.• Reappoint Kimberley Miller of Lehighton and the Rev. Doris Bray of Palmerton as three-year community representatives; and Alfred Feuerstein of Jim Thorpe and Elanius "Lenny" Bishop of Lehighton as three-year consumer representatives, effective July 1 through June 30, 2018.In other matters, the commissioners acted on the following personnel moves:• Accept the resignation of Melissa E. Baker of Jim Thorpe as a part-time legal secretary, District Attorney's office, effective July 16.• Accept the resignation of Thomas L. Jones of Summit Hill as a full-time assistant public defender, Public Defender's office, effective July 14.• Approve the change of status for Alyssa J. DeNardo of Lehighton from county caseworker I to county caseworker II, Children and Youth Services, effective July 7.• Approve the change of status for Jamie L. Graver of Lehighton from clerk, Tax Claim; to district justice secretary II, District Justice office, effective July 6.• Approve the prison board appointments of Lori J. Ahner of Palmerton, James F. Bonner of Lehighton, Ryan A. German of Bethlehem and Andre A. Reyes of Bethlehem as part-time corrections officers, Corrections, effective July 6.• Approve the internship of Jarrid Levy of Allentown, Parkland High School, in court administration, effective from July 1 to July 22.
