The Lehighton High School Class of 1957 held its 58-year reunion June 20 at the Mahoning Valley Country Club. There were 46 in attendance. The class contributes $5,000 annually to a scholarship fund which is awarded to two seniors who are members of the graduating class, with $2,500 going to a senior boy and $2,500 to a senior girl who are continuing their education in a four-year college. The class has been doing this since 2007. Thosein attendance at the reunion include, front from left, Robert Bottcher, Maureen (McLaughlin) Markley, Nancy (Bray) Wolfe and Merle Wolfe. Third row: George Brennan, Elaine (Cunfer) Windbeck, Yvonne (Sendel) Di Salvo, Marilyn (Steigerwalt) Reichard, Janice Cunfer, Maryann (Teichert) Walls and Edith (Warner) Crossin. Fourth row: Joanne (Hahn) Blew, Suann (Everett) Kleintop, Hilda (Smith) Volkert, Kathleen (Dugan) Tibensky and Patricia (Cossman) Fritzinger. Fifth row: Austin Blew, James Ahner, Robert Hofford, Norman Sheckler and Keith Fritzinger. The next reunion will be held in September 2017.
