Register now to enter exhibits at Carbon fair

For many, displaying at the Carbon County Fair has become a familytradition, for others it may be their first time entering an item at the fair.

Since the inception of the fair, exhibits have more than tripled."More and more members of ourCarbon County and West Penn Township community are participating," said Kristin Simmons, superintendent of the still exhibits at the fair.The displays include everything from foods to arts and crafts and everything in between."Everyone has a special talent and displaying at this year's fair is one way to take pride in showcasing their skills," she said.There are hundreds of competition categories for all ages. The fair works closely with the 4-H program, however there are also open classes for all residents of Carbon County and West Penn Township for entries and exhibits as well.To enter an item in the fair, visit the fair's website at

Advance registration is required.
