Concert in the Park
On Sunday, the Palmerton Band will present a concert in the Palmerton Borough Park Bandstand beginning at 7 p.m. This concert is sponsored by The Concourse Club of Palmerton.There is no rain date for any concert. In case of inclement weather the Bandstand Committee reserves the right to cancel the concert. The quilting group at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave. in Palmerton, is looking for donations of sheets to use for knotted quilts. The quilts are sent to Africa through Lutheran World Relief. This project benefits needy children and families.The group is always looking for more volunteers.
