Mahoning township police are investigating a drive-by shooting which occurred in broad daylight Friday afternoon at the Bagel Bunch along Route 209.

Owner Tim Wharton reports he and his wife were working in the restaurant preparing for Saturday morning's opening when they heard the bullet hit the front plate glass window.

Upon investigating they found glass on the floor and a bullet hole in the window. They did not hear the gunshot.
