Banding project at Beltzville

Pennsylvania Game Commission biologists, supervisors and conservation officers, along with volunteers, are conducting Canada goose banding throughout the state. Friday morning they banded 94 geese at Beltzville State Park, and also banded geese at other locations in Carbon County. The banding projects help wildlife officials track migratory patterns, as well as tabulate hunter success rates. ABOVE: Pennsylvania Game Commission Wildlife
