West Penn Township police responded to a call of shots fired Wednesday night along the 200 block of Cold Spring Road, just south of Route 443.

Residents reported hearing loud gunshots in rapid succession along the roadway, and saw a dark pickup drive from the area north to Route 443, where it turned east towards Carbon County.
