At least two people were injured Friday afternoon in a rear-end collision on Route 895 in East Penn Township. The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. just west of the intersection with Berger Creek Road. It appeared the driver of a late model BMW struck the rear of a late model Ford Mustang. Two occupants of the Mustang were injured and were being treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and transported to a local hospital. Route 895 was closed to traffic while state police at Lehighton were investigating the incident.
