Mauch Chunk Trust participates in Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day is a campaign dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty by simply having fun and making people laugh. The inaugural Red Nose Day was held in the United States on May 21 and benefits Comic Relief Inc.

The organization was previously known as America Gives Back Inc.The staff of Mauch Chunk Trust Company joined in the national effort and embraced the fundraiser at a local level. Through many different and creative ideas such as a bake sale at each branch office, red nose photos with customers and an online donation option, MCT staff, MCT corporate and MCT customers raised over $1000 for the charity."We jumped into this fundraiser at the request of two of our staff members, Chastity Miller and Lisa Perry," said Patrick Reilly, CEO and President of Mauch Chunk Trust Company."They motivated staff, communicated with customers, wore their red noses proudly and brought the fun and smiles into the bank for the day. We are proud of them and everyone who helped us support this great charity."
