Philly man gets jail for drug dealing

A Philadelphia man was sentenced to a county prison term on Thursday after entering a guilty plea before Judge Joseph J. Matika to a drug dealing charge in Carbon County court.

Samuel Miletto, 45, formerly of Lansford, pleaded to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-marijuana.He was arrested on April 19, 2013, by agents of the state attorney general's office and the county drug task force after they served a warrant on his then residence at 6 E. Patterson St., Lansford. Various drugs including crack cocaine and marijuana were found in the home. In a plea bargain a charge related to the cocaine was dropped.Matika sentenced him to serve six to one day less 24 months in prison with credit for 97 days already served.He was also ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment, zero tolerance for D&A use, supply a DNA sample and render 50 hours of community service.
