Two men have been charged with giving false identification to law enforcement authorities.

At 8:22 p.m. April 24, Mahoning Township Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on Route 443.The driver, Amadu Washington, of Philadelphia, provided the passenger's identification in an attempt to conceal his identity to officers.The passenger, Roland Koliyah, of Allentown, also provided officers with a false name.Both have been charged with false identification to law enforcement authorities, a misdemeanor.Preliminary hearings for both have been scheduled for June 17.
