A vehicle stop has lead to a DUI arrest in Carbon County.

Mahoning Township Police Chief Audie Mertz said that at 2:20 a.m. Feb. 7, Mahoning Township Police stopped a vehicle on Route 443 for careless driving.The driver, Crystal Loar, was found under the influence of alcohol. A blood test showed a 0.17 BAC.As a result, Loar has been charged with two counts of DUI, a misdemeanor, and careless driving, a summary.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 17.
