Several people were injured, one seriously, in a single-vehicle crash along Route 209 in Coaldale Friday afternoon. The crash occurred as a sport utility vehicle was traveling north from Tamaqua toward Coaldale when the driver lost control entering the right berm impacting with and snapping off a utility pole. The female driver was trapped in the wreckage. Coaldale police are investigating the incident.
