The death of a Lehighton woman is being investigated by authorities in Lehigh County.

Pamela Zackus, 39, of 226 Center St., waspronounced dead at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday at 8729 Evergreen Circle, in Upper Macungie Township.The county coroner's office said the cause of death is pending completion of an autopsy which was scheduled for this morning.The death is beinginvestigated by township police assisted by thecoroner's office and the office of the districtattorney.No other details were released by authorities.
