The Pottsville Campus of the McCann School of Business and Technology has extended the deadline for scholarship applications.The new deadline for applications will be June 12. They face the loneliness and isolation as laborers in California's dusty vegetable fields, living a hand-to-mouth existence. Sessions are held at 10:30 a.m. every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at the Salvation Army, 105 W. Broad St.Sessions begin with a casual 20 minutes of aerobic movement through walking, then incorporates a variety of fitness genres, including yoga and tai chi, which help to increase balance, flexibility, strength and energy. Most routines can be done standing or sitting based on the individual's comfort level.Registration is free and walk-ins are welcome.St. John LutheranThe Rev.
