The Panther Valley School Board hired Cary J. Hennigh to oversee two cafeterias that cook breakfasts and lunches for roughly 1,500 school students a day.

Hennigh was tabbed to succeed Rose Ann Bales upon her retirement at the end of this school year.The hiring came on a 5-4 vote with board members Bernard Ogozalek Jr., Angelo Santore, Louis Vermillion, Steve Tentylo and Robert Graver supporting the hiring.Fifteen candidates were interviewed for the position.
