Tamaqua woman has parole revoked

A Tamaqua woman arrested on drug charges April 9 had her parole on a previous charge revoked five days later.

Krystle Ketchledge, 24, was ordered by Schuylkill County Judge John Domalakes on April 14 to serve the time remaining on her original sentence for driving under the influence, careless driving, driving on a sidewalk, damaging property and failing to report the damage to police in Shenandoah on Nov. 3, 2012. The 103 days she was on parole were disallowed. That means she'll be in jail on those charges until July 26 the day before her 25th birthday.Ketchledge was already in jail under $25,000 bail stemming from charges filed by Shenandoah police on April 9.The new charges, felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanor offenses of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, stem from accusations that she sold bath salts to a confidential informant.According to an affidavit of probable cause, Ketchledge, along with Brian M. Obrzut, 44, of Shenandoah, met with the informant for an arranged buy. As police removed her from the car she was in, Ketchledge dropped three bags filled with a white powder that tested positive for bath salts. She also had additional drugs tucked into her waistband.Obrzut was charged with the same offenses as Ketchledge in addition to resisting arrest. He too remains in jail.
