Pathstone Head Start's Coaldale Center hosted a guest reader in conjunction with Weekof the Young Child, celebrated from April 12 through 18. Deb Hartley, Pennsylvania Officeof Child Development and Early Learning, shared "Number One Sam" by Pennsylvania author Greg Pizzoli, with the young readers. The book is the 2015 PA One Book, Every Young Child selection. This is the Coaldale center's second year participating in the 10-year-old program, which promotes the importance of early literacy.
