Its installation will keep pedestrians on public property and safely away from trains and traffic. Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to further explore the D&L Trail and surrounding towns. The D&L National Heritage Corridor is a nonprofit organization that preserves the historic pathway that carried coal and iron from Wilkes-Barre to Philadelphia.Today, the D&L Trail connects people to nature, culture, communities, recreation and our industrial heritage.
