Two buildings were destroyed Monday morning by a fast-moving brush fire in East Penn Township. The fire was reported by the owner of the property at 760 W. Sunset Road just after 11 a.m. The owner reported he was having a controlled burn when high winds swept the flames into a high grass field. The flames quickly devoured a nearby wood-frame garage and a small building on the property. The fire quickly spread because of low humidity and wind gusts.
