Tamaqua man charged in misuse of credit card

Rush Township police arrested a Tamaqua man for misuse of corporate credit cards.

Todd Bugdanavage, 39, was arraigned before District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, on March 27, charged with felony counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud.The charges were filed after police conducted an investigation and determined that Bugdanavage had used UPS credit cards at gas stations in Tamaqua and Hometown to fill the gas tank on his personal vehicle as well as purchasing diesel fuel for his home.The thefts were committed between Jan. 6, 2014 and Jan. 22. Fraudulent charges totaled $4,084.47.The defendant was released on his own recognizance.
