Jessica Olewine of Slatington has been named the Girl of the Month for April by the Slatington Women's Club.

A student at Northern Lehigh High School, she is involved in field hockey, basketball and track. She is student council vice president and involved in the National Honor Society. She also helps as a youth group leader at her church in Andreas.She was named Female Athlete of the Week during the 2013 field hockey season, and athlete of the year in 2013 and 2014Her interests include watching baseball and drawing. She really enjoys watching the Marvel Superhero movies.Jessica plans to attend Lebanon Valley College to earn a doctorate in physical therapy. She intends to minor in athletic training. She also plans to be part of LVC's track team to further her career in long and triple jump.
