Jeffrey J. Beauvais will return to his Tamaqua roots with a concert at the Tamaqua Community Art Center on Thursday.

Currently residing in Pottsville, Beauvais is a composer, songwriter and performer who has added a touch of stand-up comedy to his acoustical musical performances. His tendency to improvise multiple songs, as he describes everything he sees during his performances, has become a crowd pleaser.Sometimes he asks the audience for a few topics, and other times he covertly injects new lyrics into known covers previously requested by the venue. One of the driving forces behind the music at Sweet Freedom Records, he has performed almost everywhere there is music block parties, craft fairs, restaurants, festivals, chapel and church services, weddings, receptions and more.He also shares a music ministry with his wife, Melissa, and is co-founder of "Love All Around" and coordinator at JB Entertainment. He plans to record three separate short albums this year a worship album, a gospel folk album and a patriotic love song album for general audiences.Beauvais recently won an audition spot on the television show "America's Got Talent."To hear samples of his music, visit
