Jersey Cropdusters band performs Saturday

Mike McLoughlin and The Jersey Cropdusters will perform at the Tamaqua Community Art Center on Saturday.

The band hails from Phillipsburg, New Jersey, and has been playing together for eight years. All band members come from a blues background and have developed an Americana Rockin' Blues style. The group iscomposed of Mike McLoughlin, lead vocalist and songwriter, who has played with Enfinity, Hard Knox, The Hepcats, and played at the 1989 New York State jazz fest; Chris is from the school of blues and also plays with Off The Wall, a Pink Floyd tribute band; Donnie, songwriter, isconsidered the back bone of the band and has played with a very renowned jazz and blues band and The Thom Palmer Band; Jimmy, the man with the beat, has been a bandmate of Mike's for over 30 years. Together, this band creates a unique style and sound and their chemistry speaks foritself.Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
