A Pine Grove man has admitted in court to threatening to blow up the Schuylkill County courthouse.
Todd A. Dohner, 49, pleaded guilty Wednesday before Judge James Goodman to two counts each of criminal use of a communications facility, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats.Goodman ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Dohner will be sentenced via video as he is being returned to the state prison at Rockview in Bellefonte, Centre County.He is jailed for previous parole violations on two 2012 cases involving indecent exposure and harassment, and is under $500,000 bail in the courthouse calls case.Pottsville police on Oct. 3, 2014, charged Dohner with two counts of felony terroristic threats, two counts of felony criminal use of a communication facility and two counts of persistent disorderly conduct.Dohner admitted to placing the calls to the courthouse voice mail late at night on Oct. 2 and in the early morning hours of Oct. 3.In the calls, Dohner said he was the leader of a "terrorist group" and would have his group shoot students at a school from 100 yards away at 3 p.m. if his demand was not met.The courthouse was closed at 11 a.m. as a precaution.Police traced the calls to Dohner's cellphone.
