Jim Thorpe Senior High School Chess Team placed secondin the U1000 Section of the 2015 PA State Scholastic ChessChampionships held in Lancaster March 14-15. There were over 30 schools from across Pennsylvania competing in the U1000 Section. In addition to the team placing second, Jim Thorpe also had a few standout individual performances. Matthew Miller tied for first place and is a co-champion of the U1000 Section. Dana Rodriguez finished fourth in the Unrated Section.
