Northern Lehigh School District could add a used dump truck to its fleet at a cost of nearly $47,000.

Just one proposal was submitted to the district on Monday, from Bobby Gerhart's Truck World, of Lebanon, in the amount of $46,500.The proposal was for a 2002 GMC 8500 Series Truck, complete with a plow and salt box.Greg Derr, director of support services and transportation, said the dump truck appears to meet the district's needs.Action could be taken on the purchase of the truck when the school board meets at 7:30 p.m. April 13.
