Lehighton will wait to advertise for this year's road program.

On a 5-0 vote, borough council on Monday agreed to have the borough manager and borough engineer discuss funding and the scope of the project before it advertises for the program.In other business, council:• Approved the Cleveland Brothers resolution for the purchase of a new 930K Wheel Loader for $153,198, to be financed over six years.• Agreed to contract with Levkulic Associates for the fit-out office space for the new light and power building in the amount of $3,420.• Approved the repository sale on 134-136 N. First St.• Adopted an ordinance amending BOCA National Property Maintenance Code and firearms.• Approved a $160,000 budgetary transfer from the borough's light and power account to the borough's general fund.• Agreed to purchase $30 gift certificates for Administrative Professionals Day.
