Allentown death ruled homicide

ALLENTOWN (AP) The death of a man whose body was found in an eastern Pennsylvania rooming house has been ruled a homicide.

Officials in Lehigh County said the unidentified victim was found dead shortly after noon Monday at the Allentown residence.Coroner Scott Grim said Monday evening that he had ruled the death a homicide, but an autopsy would be done today to determine the exact cause of death.Grim indicated that the man had not been identified, but said he appeared to be between 35 and 45 years old.Assistant Chief Bill Lake said the second-floorwindow of the home was open when officers arrived.
