A man wanted on a rape of a child and related charges was apprehended in Carbon County on Wednesday.

State police at Lehighton said Jonathan Spyros Hortis, 26, no address given, was arrested without incident about 8:10 a.m. behind the Weissport House in Weissport.He was arraigned before District Judge Edward Lewis, of Jim Thorpe, and committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning after failing to post $200,000 percentage bail.Hortis is also facing charges of aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault, indecent assault forcible compulsion, terroristic threats, and harassment.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. April 1 before Lewis.
