Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., 9 a.m., includes Service of Healing and Blessing of the prayer shawls. The Service of Healing with prayers and the "laying on of hands" are said for those with emotional, physical or spiritual burdens to help one's loads be lightened.Designated pastor the Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.Prayer shawls are handmade by volunteers, each stitch a spiritual practice. Prayer shawls wrap, comfort, shelter, beautify and celebrate love. The shawls are available free of charge.Sunday School classes meet for students ages 3 through grade 12 at 10:30 a.m. Level I and II (grades seven and eight) confirmation classes meet at 10:30. On March 29 the students will process around the block starting at 10:30 with palm crosses, weather permitting.A midweek Lenten worship series finishes at 7 p.m. Wednesday: "Women of the Book of Acts." A simple soup supper at 6 p.m. precedes devotions.The Rev. Moore has allotted time to meet forthose seeking to become members at Trinity from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday. Moore presides at the following: Maundy Thursday, April 2, with Holy Communion, 7 p.m.; April 3, Good Friday Tenebrae worship at 7 p.m.; April 4, Vigil of Easter worship with Holy Communion, 5 p.m.; April 5 Easter worship with Holy Communion, 8 and 10 a.m.Fifth-grade students who attend three instructional sessions will be given Holy Communion during the Maundy Thursday (April 2) worship service.The Rev.
