When I ran for office three years ago, I promised taxpayers I would save them money. I see my role as asking tough questions and making tough choices for the taxpayer. As a member of the Summit Hill Borough Council, I've significantly reduced debt for the borough and cut taxes two years in a row. Summit Hill was the only borough to cut taxes twice.When I am casting a vote, I always ask myself, "Will this benefit the taxpayers and property owners who elected me?"I will continue to use that standard.That may make me unpopular with the good old boys, but so be it.Sincerely,Jesse WalckSummit Hill Councilman
