Kindergarten registration in the Jim Thorpe Area School District for the 2015-2016 school year will be held in March for the L.B. Morris and Penn Kidder buildings. The district offers a full-day kindergarten experience for its students.

Registration for L.B. Morris will be held March 23 and March 24.Registration for the Penn Kidder Campus will be held March 25 and March 26. Children must be 5 by Sept. 1, to be eligible for kindergarten registration.Parents should call the appropriate school office as registration is by appointment only. A parent or the legal guardian of the child must attend registration. Registration paperwork will not be accepted from other family members.Parents are asked not to bring their child to this registration. An appointment for a prescreening assessment will be scheduled at the time of registration. Also, a special kindergarten orientation day is planned for August for the students to meet the teachers and tour the school.Any questions regarding kindergarten registration should be directed to the L.B.
