Storm on its way

Kickoff is inching closer for Sunday's Super Bowl and so is a potential storm that could drop up to 10 inches of snow across the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning from 7 p.m. tonight through 1 p.m. Monday.Predictions call for 6-10 inches and a trace amount of ice.Snow is expected to start late Sunday and continue through Monday morning, moving out of the area by early afternoon.Sleet and freezing rain could also enter the mix Monday morning, making the commute a slick one.Temperatures will be in the 20s on Sunday night, before reaching single digits on Monday night.Tuesday should be mostly sunny with a high of 23 degrees.Municipalities in the area are already gearing up for tonight's storm.Beaver Meadows and Weatherly have snow bans currently in place.
