Rep. Julie Harhart will offer her monthly veterans outreach hours in her Slatington district office Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The office is in the Slatington Borough Hall, 125 S. Walnut St.

During those hours, a veterans outreach specialist from the American Legion in Wilkes-Barre will be available to meet with veterans and assist them with issues they may be having accessing benefits and services from the U.S. Veterans Affairs.The veterans outreach specialist is available the first Thursday of each month on alternating months at Harhart's Northampton or Slatington district offices. February's visit is in Slatington. The March 5 visit will be in Northampton.Appointments are necessary. Contact the Slatington district office at 610-760-9805 for schedule availability.
