Man faces drug charges

Mahoning Township Police have just charged a man with DUI because of drugs found in his system in August.

On Aug. 30 at 12:30 a.m. Mahoning Township Police stopped a vehicle on Route 209 at a DUI Checkpoint.As a result of the stop the driver Bradley Hockenbrock, 25, of Collegeville was found under the influence of marijuana.Hockenbrock had marijuana, and amphetamine. A blood test showed the presence of Delta-9 THC, and Delta-9 Carboxy THC. Hockenbrock has been charged with two counts of DUI-Drugs, possession of a small amount of marijuana, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug Paraphernalia.A passenger in the vehicle Timothy Carroll, 25, of Norristown has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.Preliminary hearings for both are scheduled on Feb. 11.
