If two or more violations occur during the winter season, then the third fine will increase to $50 and the vehicle will be towed at the owner's expense. In addition to the amended portion of the ordinance the borough also prohibits any private person, firm or corporation from plowing the streets or alley within the borough limits unless prior permission has been given by Nesquehoning Borough Council. They are also not permitted to pile snow or ice on any street, alley or roadway or across from any private property including, but not limited to, private driveways. If a person is found to be doing so, they shall be required within four hours of being notified by officials to remove the snow or face a fine.
