A Tamaqua man was involved in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Blythe Township.

Kenneth L. Mast, 54, was northbound on Route 209, south of Middleport, around 11:40 a.m. when his 1997 Chevrolet Malibu was struck head-on by a 2002 Subaru Legacy, driven by Katelyn M. Shappell, 19, of Port Carbon.State police at Frackville said Shappell lost control of her vehicle on the snow covered road and would be cited for the crash.Both drivers were uninjured.
