Walker Twp. man's bail is reinstated

A Walker Township man has had his bail reinstated after Judge Charles Miller lifted his bench warrant.

Brandon Hosler, 21, on Dec. 23 was ordered to live at 24 N. Greenwood St., Tamaqua. Miller set bail at $5,000 unsecured.Hosler was charged by Tamaqua police on May 31, 2013, with conspiracy to commit theft from a motor vehicle, theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property, all misdemeanors.Police said he and James Gilson, 19, also of Tamaqua, were observed rummaging through a car in the East End of Tamaqua.Gilson and Hosler were also accompanied by a 16-year-old Tamaqua male, who was turned over to juvenile authorities. Between the trio, they had $81 in bills, $19.93 in change, four lighters, packs of four different brands of cigarettes, two iPod chargers, a flashlight, gum, condoms, sunglasses and a Rite Aid Wellness card.Miller also reinstated bail for Jenny Haydt, 24, of Coaldale. She was ordered to live at 13 E. Ruddle St., Coaldale.Miller dissolved her bench warrant and set bail at $10,000 unsecured. Haydt was charged on May 27 by Coaldale police with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person on Feb. 21. No details of the crime were available.
