The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a freezing rain advisory from 6 p.m. today to 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Ice accumulations of a trace to a couple hundreds of an inch are possible.

Light freezing rain may mix with sleet or snow early this evening before changing over to all freezing rain through the overnight hours.

The freezing rain is expected to change over to rain by daybreak Tuesday.
